The consultancy is headed by Robin Woods, who brings over 40 years of direct experience in rail and transit sectors. Robin has honed his skills in a variety of very different roles in the public transit sector in areas such as Sales, Customer Contact Centre, Operations (train driver) and Management (systems analyst). He is also the world’s most published transit map researcher / designer having had his designs reproduced in over 1000 different guidebooks, diaries, information leaflets, apps, public transport and travel trade information products and gifts.
Fun Facts: Used to drive the overnight mail train between London Euston and Crew. Whilst researching the transit system in Genoa, the lift got stuck and had to be ‘rescued’ by the lift in the opposite shaft. Best music of all time: 80’s ;)
Ann-Marie O’Donnell

Ann-Marie is a highly skilled communications expert, and a Master NLP practitioner trained with Paul McKenna and Richard Bandler. She has global experience in individual and team coaching up to Executive Board level in public and private sectors. Previous experience includes banking, recruitment, headhunting, sales, business and leadership development. She has good conversational Spanish, French and German.
Fun facts: When I lived and worked in Switzerland many moons ago I wanted to see if I would be any good at busking so on the spur of the moment I stood on a street in Zurich and just started singing! And yes some people did drop some coins at my feet!
Richard Marchi

Richard is an accomplished cartographic editor and cartographer and has worked in the industry for many years serving various publishing companies including the AA (Automobile Association, UK), Rough Guides (Random House) and PC Graphics amongst others.

Edward (Ed) Merritt

Ed graduated from Oxford Brookes University 1999 with a First-Class Honors in Mapping and Cartography. Ed is experienced with many of the Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, having utilised these resources for more than 20 years on a wide range of print and online projects. Ed also works with a selection of different GIS systems, including QGIS and Remix, both as a method for managing and maintaining large databases and for carrying out analysis tasks. He is also competent in the production of online and interactive maps and very capable with a range of interactive map authoring tools, such as Mapbox Studio.
Fun facts: My hobbies include wildlife photography (especially insects) and cycling (I enjoy off road riding in the New Forest, near to where I live). In terms of music, I disagree with Robin on this, I think 90s music is better!
