This temple is near Qilian station. An ordinary residential street with a quite extraordinary temple. I came across this whilst walking between two stations on the line of route I was researching.
I like the juxtaposition of the everyday ‘ordinariness’ of the allotment and the metro train in the background. There aren’t many cities where you can see this kind of scene nowadays.

So this completes the section on the treasures that can be found when carrying out transport map research in Taipei. It was a great city to research, the residents were very friendly and helpful and the city most interesting and I have no hesitation to recommend anyone to visit for business or pleasure.
