One of my favourite buildings of all time. Surrounded by nature. How different it would have been had the planners and builders decided to chop everything down? More cities should be like this – living, breathing, natural.
This is in fact, a library and there are places to sit and contemplate and refresh. This is a eco-friendly building for a number of reasons, not least the fact that rainwater is collected to feed the library’s plants and for flushing the toilets
