Eurostar Staff Diary

Eurostar were kindly providing their staff with branded diaries and wanted to include the metro maps for each of their main destinations. I was invited to provide the maps for Brussels, Lille and Paris. From 2011 right through to the 2014 edition and updated and improved for each year. I was told that the staff really liked the maps and their diaries.

Lille tram and metro map neatly spread across two pages and very useable.

A close up of the Paris page where you can see clearly how the names of the stations that happen to occur near to the binding have been brought clear away and a 'leader line' brings the association of the name together with the symbol.

A close up of the Paris page where you can see clearly how the names of the stations that happen to occur near to the binding have been brought clear away and a thin black ‘leader line’ brings the association of the name together with its symbol. A small amount of excess glue in the binding process has unfortunately interfered with the graphic near the Saint-Germain-des Prés station but even that does not detract from the quality in the production of the diary – which is excellent – and the thought and care that I have given to the layout of the map.
